First Photos

We learned a bit more one week ago about our second baby. We are very excited that he is doing well and that his growth and development are right on target. And after about 15 minutes of making sure that he was fine in those categories, the ultrasound technician informed us that he is also a boy! We are so happy to know that he is well and to put a gender to our constant conversation about him. To Greta, he's still just an unusual lump on mama. To us, he's miraculous, already. Here are some of his first photos.

Note that the shadows on his head are not hair - - they are just shadows of the soft spot where his skull has not quite grown together yet. See those legs and arms? I know that they are strong because he has been actively kicking and nudging me for about a month. This is one of many cool 3d photos. His first tiny footprint. Since he weighs only 11 oz now, it is really very tiny, indeed.
