Eli and Evan!

This weekend, we had a wonderful visit with Paul's brother, Steve, and his wife Heather and their darling boys, Eli and Evan. They live in Florida and stopped in to see us on their way to other parts of North Carolina for a few days of camping. It's always nice to get cousins together, and this weekend was no exception. Eli was really into Greta, and Evan was really into Max. Despite Greta's being sick this weekend, we had such a fun time with everyone. Thanks for coming to see us, Steve and Heather! We'll see you guys in Florida on Labor Day weekend! Here's Eli with Max. We have to hand it to Max - - pretty patient with his new fans! Only one bark all weekend.
Eli loves babies and was very attentive and sweet to Greta all weekend. Wow! Boys have these great toys called matchbox cars! I think I need a few of them for myself!

They are even more fun than playing with the remote control!

Evan decided that it was time to go fishing. Here he's getting his hooks and sinkers all in order.

Greta is teaching these boys about the joys of jumping (we didn't tell her that they'd been there, done that).
