Long Lost Blogger

It's been a bit since I posted here because Greta, Paul, and I went out to Oregon last week to visit my sister and her family. I get busy when I travel and forget about the blog. But now we're back and I need to do a little back dating. We had a great week seeing Lori, Bruce, Parker and Lindsey and some of our other long-time friends who also happen to live in the Portland area. On our last full day of the visit, we went over to Washington to Merwin Lake. It was way too cold for the ladies to venture into the lake, but the guys had fun tubing and exploring a little waterfall. This lake adventure was a first for miss Greta, and after the initial shock of going fast with the top down, so to speak, (too windy!) she seemed to have a fun day of it. Here is the lovely lake. She looks pretty happy. :)
Luci, however . . . . not so happy with Greta trying to pull up on her! She was a very good dog, and although perfectly in the right to snap at this pushy baby, Luci never did and was always a sweet dog. Could be that she was more interested in food than in Greta at this point, but still.
Greta did ALOT of this all week - - just hanging with Aunt Lori.
Greta was a bit distressed by her first experience with sunscreen.
So we scrapped that idea and went for the bundled-up approach to sun protection.

So . . . Lindsey isn't a huge fan of the boat, in general. Teenagers need their sleep. :)

And so do little tiny babies. :)
