Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to Paul! As he put it, he earned his stripes today. We spent Father's Day in the Urgent Care Clinic. Poor Greta is having a pretty nasty little reaction to Amoxicillin - - which she started taking ten days ago when we found out that she had a minor ear infection. Yesterday she started getting little red dots on her tummy, and by this afternoon, the dots were connecting to form giant red patches. She seemed to feel well, had no fever, and was eating well, so we relied on our doctor's advice to just let it play out. But . . . parental worrying got the better of us, and we took her to the clinic this afternoon. She should be all cleared up in a few days. Poor thing! Trial by fire, eh, Paul? This is what dads are made of. :) You will see, in these videos (taken today) why we weren't as worried about Greta as you might think: she's having a blast! She's crawling, giggling at Max, and generally being a happy - albeit, speckled - girl. Enjoy!
The rash - - looks MUCH better in this photo than in real life.
