Afternoons

There are certain times in any given day that I love and look forward to. One of them is playtime immediately upon our arrival home every afternoon. Lately that consists of crawling, playing with Greta's new dump truck, having a little pre-dinner snack (nursing) and then falling into a very deep thirty-minute sleep. Here we go: The dump truck - Greta's latest and greatest toy.

Crawling to chase after the dump truck after it rolled out of reach. Pesky wheels!

Playing with the blocks that go inside the dump truck. Greta's strong preference is that they remain out of the dump truck and in her mouth. Detour: looks like a water break, but really it's just a "play with the sippy cup break". She's not so sure about water yet. Note the carpet burn on her knees and shins. Crawling is not for sissies.
Ah, the dump truck. So . . . fascinating.

Sacked out. It's only about 6:00 pm - - time for Greta's last nap of the day. :)
Then off to dinner, stroll, bath, play time, story time, and bed. A long and happy day. :)
