Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! Yesterday we went to another farm with some of our friends and their boys, Alex and Cooper - - aka, "Monster" and "Cowboy". We went on a tactor-pulled hayride, saw farm animals, played fetch with the farm dogs, picked a few pumpkins from the patch, and drank some cider. It was great fun even though a little misty. Thanks to my mom for making Greta's darling costume - - another sweet Nana invention. It was a hit!!
That's a real western shirt straight from Texas!
A very straight-faced Monster.
And the cutest pumpkin we've ever seen.
Have you ever seen a Monster in a jacket?
Or a pumpkin that could walk?
Tractor-pulled hayride! We felt like we were on Hee Haw. (Not really.)
Many barnyard critters.
The pigs were quite boisterous - - tearing apart a pumpkin. A little creepy, really.
The calf just watched Greta watching her.
This little cowboy felt right at home.
Alex still looking pretty serious.
The farm had a couple of dogs who enjoyed fetch. Paul played more with them than with the kids. They were pretty and fast! After the animals, these guys got to pick some pumpkins out of the patch. Which really just meant more photo ops. This is about as good as I got. . . .
Happy first Halloween, Greta!!
