A Happy Day

We had a pretty nice day today. It started with Greta helping Dad with the car. The headlights needed replacing. Then we headed over to the park to pick up some acorns from the tall trees there.
We collected at least two germinating acorns for every pot we had earmarked for this project back home, and we headed out.
Greta was reluctant to hand over her newfound toys.
We loaded up our pots with dirt and peat moss, and said goodbye to the acorns.
Greta was not very interested in putting the acorns anywhere . . .
. . . except in her mouth. :)
Hopefully we'll have a bunch of little trees by the Spring. We'll keep you posted!
