Randoms

First, I should report that Greta has one and a half new teeth. Her two upper teeth began slowly popping through last week. Her right one is through and her left one is on the way! In other news, I *think* she can wave hello and bye bye. This claim still needs to be time-tested, but she seemed to know what she was doing today. Video to follow once she's mastered the skill. :)

Now on to the photographicly backed-up news of the day: when Greta wakes up in the 5 to 6 time frame, I just pop her in bed with us. It's a great way to get my co-sleeping fix without actually sleeping with the wiggle worm all night. This morning she was not interested in waking up. Pretty comfy baby.Totally random, but I'm proud of my husband, so I'm posting this shot. Paul is an expert pie maker. He uses his mom's recipes, and he does an excellent job. Here are his most recent creations. Mary - - you'd be proud!
The tub! How many shots can we take of Greta taking a bath, you ask? Her most recent funny incident in the tub happened a couple of nights ago. She decided to pull the tub stopper out of the drain. I didn't want her to chew on that, so I took it away and began trying to keep the water in the tub with other "stoppers" - - a wash cloth, a toy, a cup. With each item I put in the drain, Greta yanked it right out. She discovered the neat sensation of the drain pulling on her fingers, and she's never going back. Her baths are much shorter these last few nights because I cannot keep water in the bathtub!

You think this is a long video, but today I sat and watched Greta do this for upwards of an hour. She held the globe ball and the grocery sack and turned herself in circles all over the living room. Our silly, sweet babe.
