Wyatt is learning so much these days. Recently, he's been having fun figuring out which letter in the alphabet goes with different family members' names or with different foods or with other pictures. Just before this little video, we went through one of his books, and Wy began singing his ABCs. Until then, I had no idea he knew this little song. He has also begun counting, and I think he can make it to seven - - but he always skips number three. Finally, tonight as I was tucking Wyatt in, he began to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I let him sing it all alone first, then I sang it with him. At the end he said one of his favorite sentences, "I like that!" Now comes the part where we will scarcely be able to keep up with what he's learning. At a recent doctor's visit, our PA asked if Wy knows 50 words, to which Paul replied, "He knows 50 words about football." Wyatt is talking in paragraphs now. And incidentally, sometimes, as in this video, he wants those around him to "hush!" while he says or sings something by himself! "Do it by myself!" is pretty high up there in his phrasebook, too. Watching Wyatt's little brain do its thing is just amazing. Sweet, smart boy.
