Drawings

Wyatt wants to do everything his sister does.  If she marches, he marches.  If she sings, he sings.  If she cried, so does Wyatt.  It's unbelievable how much he wants to do what she does.  This can be complicated, though, because, for instance, Greta does not eat magic markers and Wyatt does.  But if they are working on a drawing, there is NO way Wy will settle for crayons while Greta has the markers.  I think this is why younger children get away with more than their older siblings.
Greta drew this picture of a caterpillar and some grass.  She made sure to point out that the primarily green grass has a few blades of blue grass mixed in.  These details are on purpose and did not result in her just picking up another random marker.  I find that so interesting.  As she finished her drawing, I asked her to put her own name at the bottom along with the date.  She did it all by herself except for the / in the date. That was a new one on her.
