After many weeks of travel, holidays, and a most recent bout of pneumonia (Wyatt) - - I have been a long time gone. I have missed the chronicle-ing of my family, and I am happy to get back to it. Let's see - - where were we? Oh yes, Thanksgiving.
This year we went up North to Michigan for the Thanksgiving feast (as Sam kept calling it). Grandma put on quite the spread and hosted something like 40 people in her house. Greta and Wyatt loved all the festivities including a neighborhood football game, the big meal, and a trip to the Lions' stadium in Detroit for Paul's high school's state championship game. We had fun!
A trip to East Lansing would not be complete without a trip to Michigan State - - we fed the mallards and Greta was a bit taken aback with how "friendly" they were.
