This weekend, we attempted to go to the zoo in South Carolina with some new friends. We got rained out, however, and ended up spending the day in this amazing children's museum instead. It's called Edventure. This is a giant boy that you can crawl around inside seeing first-hand all the valves of the heart, the curls of the brain, all his intestines, and the rest.
The bulk of my photos from this day were shot inside this kids' size grocery store where Greta enjoyed shopping on her scale. We had to drag her out of there.
Since Greta regularly sings, "Happy Birthday to me . . . " and because she constantly tells people: "My birthday is coming up" - - her putting this birthday cake in her basket was par for the course.
Here's another group shot of our new pals: Makena, Tristan, and Gunner. These children are all three years old, and Greta thoroughly enjoyed playing with these big kids. Thanks for a fun rainy day!
