Here are a few shots of Greta during the last couple of weeks in varying stages of rest - - mostly sleep.
My grandfather made this wooden crib for my mother almost 70 years ago. My mother and her two sisters slept in it, and my own sister's two children used it when they were babies. We keep it in the living room and use it for naps. I love the piece and the loving history.
Max is very sweet and gentle when he's near Greta. He's done nothing more than look and sniff. And he quiets way down when he's around her.
Some rare moments when Greta is not all wrapped up. It's cold in late October! And the pacifier you see in some of these photos has thus far been a joke. She's absolutely not interested in it unless someone holds it in her mouth. If Greta has to do it for herself - - well, she cannot be bothered.
