We went to a pumpkin carving party at Greta's friend, Amaya's house. Each child got an imported pumpkin from Italy. Hard to grow a good crop of pumpkins in the springtime, it turns out. These guys lasted maybe 48 hours before they were sullen and black with mold.

Halloween Day started well with our witch and our vampire-tiger-bat.
Each class had a parade and went trick-or-treating through the school. Here is Greta's class in the library.

The show must go on, whether in costume or not! Amaya and Greta are very talented witches.
