We went camping a couple of weekends ago with a sweet family who moved (again) to Chile with us. Susannah is Chilean, and Paul is from the US. Their boys and daughter have been raised in Oregon, Israel, Venezuela, and now in Chile. This amazing couple met a million years ago while Susannah was a trekking guide in Patagonia and Paul was on a trip here. Now they are teachers at Nido. Susannah's parents have a small piece of land in a nearby national park on which they have a camp site. We visited the site with them and went on this glorious hike. Spectacular views, amazing company, and superb Spring weather.

We ended our day with this sunset and a long round of dominoes before retiring to our tent. Gorgeous first camping trip in Chile!
