Movie Nights

Since I can remember, we've made the weekends special for Greta by letting her sleep with us every Friday night. Certainly, she sleeps with us on many nights in between Fridays, but she knows that on the weekends it is a given that she can sleep with mom and dad - - and she talks about it all week long. I really believe that this tradition has helped her learn her days of the week! For about a year now, we've added a movie element to our Friday nights, too. Typically we have popcorn and hot chocolate or ice cream and she gets to watch a "movie". Since Wyatt is a bit older now, he gets to really partake in the Friday night festivities and is learning the love of both popcorn and ice cream. He's not particularly into Winnie the Pooh or Strawberry Shortcake, but in time I'm sure Greta will bring him around. For now, she is really good at sharing her food.
