Funny Story

I don't have photos to go with this one, and I'm not sure they'd help tell the story anyway. Yesterday Greta and I were in the backyard when our dear friends Carrie and Colin came over to visit. We were all just hanging out in the backyard when I saw two things: 1.) my daughter's first obvious understanding of cause and effect, and 2.) a little jealousy. Colin was walking and fell down on his tummy. He kind of bumped his face in the fall and was crying. Carrie scooped him up and gave him some TLC. Greta, from afar, watched the whole scene and then made her move. She walked over to the same spot where Colin had fallen, and she laid herself down in the spot and began to cry - - all the while looking over at me. I just laughed and called that girl a faker. She grinned, got up, and that was that. It was the funniest thing I've seen lately and just thought I'd share. :)
