Christmas Eve and Day

After returning from the beach, we spent all of Christmas Eve day making food, decorating our table, and getting our meal ready.  These Oregonians came packing their own ingredients for their favorite holiday food, including green been casserole.

In true ex-pat fashion, we invited some close friends, Colleen and Brad, who will be traveling in the next few days, but who were still in Santiago for Christmas Eve.  They came over, had dinner with us, and participated in a White Elephant gift exchange.

Aunt Lolo read "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

Santa ate the heck out of our cookies.

Christmas morning began!

Even Julio got a present!

Trying out a few new gifts:  turtle shell, new clothes, Checkers, and an airplane.

After breakfast, we went on a Christmas hike up Manquehueita

Merry Christmas!
