Home Sweet Home. Never in my life have I hung any sort of flag - - least of all the flag of any country. Alas, it is illegal in Chile (or so we've been told) NOT to hang the flag on Chile's Independence Day. Ergo, forced patriotism; the best and most productive kind.
Out front, Greta produced some actual patriotism, making her own Chilean flag for the front flower bed. Wyatt and Hoolie helped.
Greta made the Chilean flag on the right, and the Chilean "chant" she's been learning at school on the left. It says, "Chi-chi-chi! LE-LE-LE! Vi-Va, CHILE! Vi-Va, CHILE!!!!!"
And you know it's Springtime when this is what they wore on Saturday, and yesterday they wore parkas, boots, and hats. Home sweet home!
