Greta took ballet during the 2012/2013 academic year. We both had such fun spending about an hour every Saturday at the Open Door Studios. I got to meet so many amazing women who were there with their girls. Greta, of course, got to learn so much about dance and friendship. We are gearing up to start the season all over again this next weekend. I believe that it's best to have as many different social circles as possible for kids so that they can see with whom and in what they best fit. Greta loves her ballet cronies, so we are all trying to get into the same little Saturday morning class again. I think the moms enjoy each other as much as the girls do!
There was no flash photography allowed during the recital, so I only have before and after shots. This is not such a great one of Paul, but it illustrates the fan club this little girl has amassed. Aunt Lori flew in for the weekend just for Greta's show. Amazing!
This is Miss Jessie, Greta's teacher all year. She was nine months pregnant during the recital! She welcomed a sweet little girl just a few weeks later.
One pooped little ballerina . . . .
